Overview

This PhD position investigates the formation of alpha particles and their influence on nuclear structure as a function of neutron abundance in oxygen isotopes. Hosted at the Grand Accélérateur National d’Ions Lourds (GANIL) in France, the project involves conducting nuclear reaction experiments using FAZIA and INDRA detectors. The successful candidate will analyze experimental data to deepen the understanding of nucleon correlations and nuclear matter properties. The research is conducted within the doctoral school PSIME and supervised by Fanny Farget.
