Best for:Recent biology graduates who want hands‑on research experience in plant molecular biology and a strong English‑language MSc.
Overview
The Faculty of Biology at Julius‑Maximilians‑Universität Würzburg offers a full‑time Master of Science in Molecular Plant Sciences. The programme is hosted in the Julius‑von‑Sachs‑Institute within the JMU Biocenter and is taught entirely in English. Students combine lectures, seminars and intensive laboratory training while taking part in ongoing research projects under close supervision. Over four semesters they complete 120 ECTS, select two focus topics, and produce a research‑oriented master’s thesis. Graduates acquire quantitative molecular skills and are prepared for scientific or industry careers in plant science and sustainability.
