Overview

This PhD position at Université Paris-Saclay GS Physique investigates the electronic phase diagram of rhombohedral graphene heterostructures. The successful candidate will employ low-temperature scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and charge-sensing STM techniques to examine moiré minibands, electronic compressibility, and Chern numbers. Working within a leading experimental physics laboratory, the researcher will fabricate specialized nanoscale devices and carry out advanced physical measurements. Applicants are expected to have a strong background in experimental solid-state or quantum physics.
