Overview
The Nuclear Chemistry Group at RIKEN is seeking a postdoctoral researcher, research scientist, or technical staff member to contribute to the development of radioisotope production technologies using heavy ion accelerators. The successful candidate will engage in research related to the application of radioisotopes in various fields, including cancer treatment. Responsibilities include maintaining experimental facilities and collaborating with researchers both within and outside the institution. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach to their work and possess relevant research experience.
What you'll do
- Develop techniques for the production and application of radioisotopes using heavy ion accelerators.
- Conduct research related to the application of radioisotopes in cancer treatment.
- Maintain and manage experimental facilities and equipment.
- Support collaborative research efforts with internal and external researchers.
Requirements
Degree required: PhD in Chemistry or a related field
Language: English; proficiency in Japanese is a plus
Instruction: English
Publications: A record of publications in relevant scientific journals is preferred.
