Overview

This PhD project at the University of Toulouse investigates the cellular and molecular mechanisms governing vascular homeostasis and endothelial repair, with a specific focus on the purinergic receptor P2Y1. Cardiovascular diseases remain a leading global cause of mortality, and understanding endothelial dysfunction is critical for developing new therapeutic strategies. The successful candidate will utilize genetically modified mouse models and molecular biology approaches to examine endothelial P2Y1 signaling and its role in protecting against atherosclerosis. The researcher will be expected to conduct experiments, analyze immunohistological data, and contribute to scientific publications.
