The Faculty of Informatics and Data Science at Akita University invites applications for a Full Professor position specializing in intelligent robotics. The successful candidate will conduct high-level research in areas such as field robotics, autonomous mobile robots, and socially deployed robotic systems. In addition to research, the professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, including robotics kinematics, dynamics, and design. What you'll do

Requirements
Degree required: PhD
Language: Japanese (proficient for work/teaching); English (proficient for lectures).
Instruction: Japanese and English
Publications: Strong record of peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals and conferences.
- Proven research record in intelligent robotics or related fields.
- Ability to teach robotics-related subjects at the university level.
- Proficiency in Japanese sufficient for research, education, and administration.
- Ability to conduct lectures in English.
- Must hold a PhD degree.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and students.
