Overview

This postdoctoral position at King’s College London focuses on advancing quantum simulation techniques for bosonic systems coupled to qubits. The role involves classical benchmarking using tensor networks and Pauli propagation to validate quantum hardware results on Google’s Willow processor. The project targets classically intractable problems in energy, materials, and technology by addressing challenges in Hilbert space scaling, non-Gaussian dynamics, and hardware topology mapping. The successful candidate will collaborate with academic and external partners to deliver high-impact research within a 9-month fixed-term contract.
