Xi'an Jiaotong - Liverpool University is inviting applications for a full-rank faculty position within the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Hub at the XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang Campus). The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and academic leadership in the fields of entrepreneurship and enterprise development. This position offers an opportunity to shape innovative educational programs and engage with entrepreneurial ecosystems in Suzhou, China. Candidates are expected to bring academic expertise, foster industry engagement, and drive high-impact research initiatives.
What you'll do
- Deliver high-quality teaching and curriculum development in entrepreneurship and innovation topics
- Conduct independent research and publish findings in peer-reviewed academic journals
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students on enterprise and innovation projects
- Build collaborative partnerships with industry networks and entrepreneurial ecosystems
- Contribute to administrative duties and academic governance within the department and hub
Requirements
Degree required: PhD in Entrepreneurship, Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field
Language: English proficiency for teaching and research; Chinese language skills are a plus
Instruction: English
Publications: Evidence of high-quality peer-reviewed publications commensurate with the applied faculty rank
- Demonstrated track record of academic research and publishing in reputable journals
- Experience teaching entrepreneurship or business-related subjects at the university level
- Ability to engage with industry partners and foster entrepreneurial initiatives
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Open to international and domestic applicants meeting the full-rank faculty qualifications
