Overview

This PhD position at Delft University of Technology focuses on investigating the intersection of quantum mechanics and gravity by studying massive objects. The successful candidate will design, fabricate, and measure nanomechanical resonators coupled to superconducting quantum circuits within the SteeleLab. Using a novel flux-coupling approach, the research aims to create quantum superpositions of heavy objects. The role is based in the Kavli Nanolab, providing access to state-of-the-art nanofabrication facilities. Applicants will join a diverse, international team and contribute to pioneering research in quantum nanoscience.
