What you'll do

  • Evaluate the efficacy of biocontrol solutions under controlled and semi-commercial conditions to identify promising candidates for tomato fungal disease protection.
  • Characterize the modes of action of selected biocontrol substances by analyzing their direct and indirect biological effects on plant-associated microbiota.
  • Validate the most effective biocontrol solutions under semi-commercial conditions and identify factors influencing their efficacy.
  • Assess the impact of treatments on plant-associated microbial communities using advanced microbiological and molecular techniques.
  • Collaborate with academic and industrial partners to coordinate scientific activities, present findings at conferences, and contribute to project reports and publications.
  • Conduct experiments in microbiology, microscopy, and metabolomics to support the development and validation of biocontrol strategies.
