Doctoral Student in Remote Fault Attacks on Cryptographic Algorithms
Investigate machine learning-driven remote fault attacks and resilient cryptographic design at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
Best for:Best for master's graduates in computer science or electrical engineering with a strong background in cryptography, embedded systems, and machine learning.
Overview
KTH Royal Institute of Technology invites applications for a fully-funded doctoral position focusing on remote fault attacks on cryptographic algorithms within the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. The project investigates both offensive techniques and defensive countermeasures, integrating advanced machine learning to analyze vulnerabilities and develop resilient hardware-software architectures. Working within the Hardware Security group alongside five other PhD students, the successful candidate will bridge mathematical and electrical engineering challenges. Supervision is provided by Prof. Elena Dubrova and Prof. Carl-Mikael Zetterling, with funding from the Swedish Research Council.
