Overview

This Research Fellow position at UCL’s Division of Biosciences focuses on reconstructing the evolutionary pathway between egg-laying and live-bearing reproductive modes in Littorina snails. Under the supervision of Dr. Sean Stankowski, the successful candidate will design and execute experiments using advanced techniques like single-cell RNA sequencing, proteomics, and chromatin accessibility assays. The role is fully funded by a UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship and offers opportunities for professional development, collaboration with international partners, and independent research pursuits. The position is ideal for researchers with a strong background in molecular and developmental biology, particularly those with expertise in genomics and functional genomics approaches.
