Overview

Örebro University’s School of Science and Technology invites applicants for a PhD position within the RESIST center, a national initiative focused on cyber-resilient AI. This role, starting December 1, 2026, centers on developing secure coordination protocols for multi-agent systems—spanning robots, AI agents, and humans—to ensure robust, safe, and flexible interactions. The project integrates theoretical research with practical testing in sandboxed and real-world environments. The successful candidate will contribute to Sweden’s leadership in trustworthy AI while collaborating with industry and public-sector partners. The position offers a fully funded, four-year doctoral studentship with a competitive monthly stipend.
