Overview

The Europhotonics Master's programme is a comprehensive two-year course designed to provide students with a deep understanding of photonics, ranging from fundamental physics to advanced interdisciplinary applications. Organized by a consortium of leading European universities, the curriculum covers topics such as nanometric-scale optical phenomena, advanced imaging for biological processes, and the development of future optical devices. Students benefit from a mobility-based structure, spending semesters at different partner institutions to gain diverse research perspectives. The programme culminates in a Master's thesis and includes an integrated industry internship to bridge the gap between academic research and professional practice.
