Overview
The University of Szczecin invites applications for a Senior Lecturer position within the teaching staff group at the Institute of Physical Culture Sciences, Faculty of Health and Physical Education. This role is offered on a three-quarters (3/4) full-time equivalent basis and serves as the initial stage of the academic hiring process. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering didactics and contributing to the educational mission of the institute. Applicants must satisfy all relevant legal criteria under Polish higher education law and the university's internal statutes.
What you'll do
- Deliver lectures, classes, and practical instruction within the Institute of Physical Culture Sciences
- Contribute to the development and implementation of teaching curricula
- Assess and evaluate student academic performance and progress
- Participate in organizational and administrative tasks related to the teaching process
- Engage in faculty meetings and academic committee work as required
Requirements
Degree required: PhD or equivalent in a relevant field
Language: Polish; Excellent proficiency required
Instruction: Polish
- Demonstrated background in physical culture sciences or closely related disciplines
- Experience in academic teaching and curriculum delivery
- Fulfillment of legal requirements set out in Articles 113 and 116 of the Law on Higher Education and Science
- Must meet the statutory requirements of the Law on Higher Education and Science of July 20, 2018
