Overview

The Michaël Lobet research team at the University of Namur is seeking a PhD candidate to join the SPARK Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) doctoral network. The project focuses on the generation of optical vortices using twisted bilayer photonic crystals, a nascent field known as moiré photonics. The successful applicant will perform theoretical and numerical calculations, alongside experimental fabrication and characterization. This role includes significant international collaboration, with mandatory secondments at IMEC and INESC MN. The position offers a stimulating environment within a consortium of leading European universities and research institutions.
