Control of Renewable Energy Systems (EU-CORE) Master's Programme
A two-year Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's programme focused on advanced control technologies for renewable energy systems.
Best for:Best for engineering graduates seeking specialized training in control systems for diverse renewable energy technologies.
Overview
The EU-CORE programme is a collaborative two-year Master's degree offered by a consortium including Brandenburg University of Technology, Ecole Centrale de Nantes, and the University of Zagreb. Designed to train top-level engineers, the curriculum covers diverse renewable energy sources, including wind, solar, hydrogen, and thermal energy, alongside their integration into power grids. Students rotate through the three partner universities during the first three semesters to gain a comprehensive understanding of control systems and energy management. The final semester is dedicated to a Master's thesis and internship, preparing graduates for careers in the global renewable energy industry.
What you'll do
- Complete 120 ECTS credits over four semesters across three European partner universities.
- Study linear and nonlinear control systems, power systems, and energy economics.
