Overview
The Center for Cyber Security at New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated Research Scientist to lead and contribute to high-impact research in security and privacy. The successful candidate will work within a vibrant, multidisciplinary environment, with opportunities for close collaboration with researchers at NYU's New York campus. Responsibilities include conducting world-class research, publishing in top-tier venues, and mentoring students. The role also involves active engagement with government and industry partners to translate research into practical, groundbreaking results.
What you'll do

- Mentor PhD, master, and bachelor students to enhance their research capabilities.
- Provide technical and administrative support for center-led workshops, conferences, and competitions.
Requirements
Degree required: PhD in Computer Science or Engineering
Language: English (excellent proficiency required)
Instruction: English
Publications: Strong record of research and publications in well-known journals and conferences.
- Expertise in a security or privacy research topic.
- At least six years of relevant research experience in computer security post-PhD.
- Strong record of research and publications in well-known journals and conferences.
- Excellent analytic, design, and coding skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must hold a PhD in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Must have at least six years of relevant research experience post-PhD.
