PhD Position on Inferring Continuous-Time Reaction Models from Time-Series Data
Join Inria Saclay to research continuous-time reaction network model inference and benchmarking from temporal biological data.
Best for:Best for candidates with a strong background in computer science, mathematical modeling, and algorithmic development interested in computational biology.
Overview
This PhD position is offered by the Inria Saclay Center within the Lifeware project team, in partnership with the ANR-DFG INCRE project. The successful candidate will focus on inferring continuous-time reaction models from time-series data, developing prototype software based on beam search, and conducting comparative evaluations using biological benchmarks. The role involves co-supervision by François Fages and Sylvain Soliman, alongside international collaboration with the University of Rostock. The expected output includes methodological developments, software prototyping, and scientific publications in top-tier journals and conferences.
