PhD Position: Quantum Phenomena in 2D Organic Systems
Explore quantum efficiency and coherence in organic nano-architectures on 2D substrates for advanced materials science applications.
Best for:Best for physics or materials science PhD candidates with a passion for quantum phenomena and nanotechnology, seeking hands-on research in advanced materials.
Overview
This PhD position at the Aragon Nanoscience and Materials Institute (INMA) focuses on investigating quantum phenomena in organic nano-architectures (ONAs) on 2D insulating substrates. The project aims to enhance quantum coherence and efficiency compared to metal-hybridized systems, with potential applications in next-generation nanotechnology. The successful candidate will develop novel methods for atomic-level control of ONAs, contributing to cutting-edge research in surface physics and materials science. The position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in physics, materials science, or a related field, seeking to advance their expertise in quantum materials.
