Overview

The University of Exeter invites applications for a fully funded four-year PhD studentship as part of the GW4 BioMed3 MRC Doctoral Landscape Programme. The project investigates how rising temperatures shape selection for antimicrobial resistance across different strains and species of Klebsiella. The successful candidate will combine eco-evolutionary theory, laboratory experiments, and genomic sequencing to develop predictive models of resistance. This studentship provides comprehensive financial support, research training, and an opportunity to contribute to global efforts in combating antimicrobial resistance.
