What you'll do
- Conduct research and evaluation studies in imaging science and machine learning, focusing on image reverse engineering and synthetic media detection.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to develop statistical and mathematical models for image processing.
- Participate in drafting grant proposals and managing funded research projects, including local and international competitive grants.
- Collaborate with industry partners to build and execute interdisciplinary research projects.
- Mentor and advise graduate students in research activities and academic development.
- Draft high-quality journal manuscripts and research reports for publication and dissemination.
- Assist in administrative tasks and perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Degree required: PhD in imaging science, computer vision, machine learning, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.
Language: English; fluency in written and spoken English required for academic and professional communication.
