Overview

This doctoral position at Université Paris-Saclay focuses on designing and evaluating an advanced microfluidic chip simulating the blood-brain barrier (BBB). Working within the Laboratory of Materials for Sensors and Delivery (LETI) under the supervision of Yohann Thomas, the candidate will integrate optical and electrical measurement systems for real-time monitoring. The project combines microtechnologies, cellular co-cultures, and integrated sensors to study permeability, transendothelial resistance, and pharmacological responses. The successful applicant will contribute to creating novel predictive tools for neuropharmacology, toxicology, and neurodegenerative disease research.
